BOOK 7 NIGHTS FOR THE PRICE OF 6! When you book 6 nights, the 7th night is free of charge! (Free night only applies to reservations for 7 consecutive nights - no site-hopping or date splits)

Modified reservations (changing the camping dates) will be subject to the current site rates for the site(s) being reserved.

We do not allow cancellations or rescheduling reservations due to weather. If the roads are open, we are open. 

​

8 people per site MAX (counting all ages, even babies). Costs per night cover 2 adults and children 13 years old and under. Any guests aged 14 and up, beyond the first 2 adults, pay an additional $6 per night fee at check-in.

We don’t charge for additional vehicles (though there is a limit of 2 per site). We have overflow parking available.

Bringing your dog (or other animal companion) is always free. Please make sure they’re kept on a leash and that you take the time to pick up after your pet. 

Dirty site and unattended campfire fee. All sites left with trash or an unattended campfire will incur a $50.00 clean up fee. 

Policies

Check in time is at 3:00 p.m. Check out time is 11:00 a.m. No arrivals past 9:30 p.m.  

 

A 100% site fee is required to reserve your site.  You are permitted to have a maximum of 8 guests per site. The site fee covers 2 adults. Any person 14 years of age or older will be charged an additional $6 per person per night. Any person 13 years of age or younger are free. Additional guest fees will be charged upon the guest(s) arrival. 

 

No tents are permitted on full hook up RV site, and a RV is needed to be on a partial site for a tent to be on it. 

4 night minimum - May 1st - September 30th (any other time - 2 night minimum)

 

Limit of five (5) sites per booking, per person (additional reservations by the same person must be for a different time frame)

 

Any change of dates for previous reservations will automatically reflect updated site pricing. 

 

Reservations can be made exactly one (1) year to the day (Up to 14 days out from the date of arrival)

 

Golf carts (battery or gas), dirt bikes, quads, side-by-sides, and ATVs are no longer permitted for use by campers.

Removal of beach items comes with a $20 pick up fee.

 

For cancellations, please email rivernookfrontoffice@gmail.com. Full refunds are issued 30 days prior to the date of arrival. No refunds or credits are issued within 30 days of arrival. There is a $10.00 cancellation fee for all canceled reservations. We do not allow cancellations or rescheduling reservations due to weather. If the roads are open, we are open. 

 

Upon arrival please park your vehicle or RV in parking lot to the left and not in front of the gate. You then will register at the office. If you prefer a contactless check in, please inform the front office, prior to your arrival by calling 760-376-2705.

Residential Sites & Rates

In addition to our camping sites, we also offer partial and full hook-up residential spaces for those guests interested in making the Kern River Valley their full or part time home. With half of our park dedicated to space for residents, we have 123 spaces suited to your vacation home or full time living needs. Availability is somewhat limited. Rates vary.
